I walked sometimes
in pain
and cried for nothing,
and everything.
But to you, my tears
were nothing.
The delivery bed
was my battlefield
And though I faced
it with all my courage
No medal of honor
is ever given.
But at least I keep
God's will
Thou shalt not kill.
I find myself alone
And when I speak
you fear the frenzy
But hear not the
words.
If it is frenzy
then it must be madness
So I lose myself
and find myself
And comfort in the
pain.
